SABINA is a database of detailed financial information for over 95,000 Austrian companies.

Each company report typically includes contact details, activities (WZ codes and trade description) detailed profit and loss account, balance sheet and ratios, geo-coding, import/export data, ownership, subsidiaries, directors/managers and the company’s bank(s). In addition to the existing ratios you can also create your own that you can display in the reports and use for searching and in your analyses. SABINA also incorporates a news section which includes stories of M&A deals and rumours.

Integral graphs illustrate each company’s performance and a company tree diagram instantly illustrates the structure of the group.

The software lets you search for companies that comply with your own criteria. You can combine as many conditions as you like and you can use full Boolean logic (and, or, not). When you have identified a group of companies you can compare them against each other and create both graphs and tables. Information can be downloaded into most packages.

Further features include: an Addin function that facilitates the analysis of "live" data from SABINA within Excel/Access and BvDEP’s matching software, which allows you to compare your own database records with those that also occur in SABINA and update or enhance your data accordingly.

As the software on SABINA is so flexible you can use it for many different research projects including: detailed financial analysis and credit risk assessment, corporate finance, venture capital and M&A research, sales and marketing including feasibility assessment and generating data for campaigns plus academic study and teaching.

SABINA is available on DVD-ROM.
